The specific character of the "Vins des Sables du Golfe du Lion" comes from a harmonious combination of nature and the know-how of men.
The soil consists of siliceous, limestone sand of the Rhone , aeolian and marine deposits and poor, surface dunal sands, with a rough texture and a low reserve of useable water.
This is the only vineyard in France to have resisted the invasion of phylloxera in the 1870s. The sunny climate tempered by the proximity of the sea provides ideal conditions for grapes to ripen.
Then, here in the Sables area, the grapes are treated using an ultra-modern process which further respects their integrity and allows them to reveal their full potential.
